Update Jan 25th:

GGGRRRRRRR…… So my PC is still on the fritz but, I’m going to try something this week to get a new post up…. just not sure if it will be in color. I am  sorry. As an aside I am excepting donations so that I may buy a new PC that doesn’t suck donkey balls. Not to offend any of you donkey ball suckers out there.

I will keep you posted and hopefully soon I’ll have something for you to look at.

Also, in the Slicefate news… my time should start to free up a little bit over the next few weeks meaning, compy issues aside, I should start to have some regular updates again.

So I work, as you may or may not know, in retail. That’s how I make my money. Now some of you more crafty followers may have figured out where I work, but I do try to keep the two parts of my life  separate. Now, Im not one to complain (ahem-hack-hack-cough) but being in a customer service role I tend to be hyper sensitive to how other people in the same role might be treated by the public. It seems to me that the way things are people (Joe Q Public) are starting to feel that they have the right to treat said Customer Service people like poop.

Just the other day I was standing in the business line up at the bank  as I was waiting on change for the store. I had noticed a fellow whose job it was, in that moment in time anyways, to greet the people in the line up for regular day to day personal banking stuff and ask them very politely if he might be able to direct them to another teller that might be able to help them out with anything of a specific nature.

Dont get me wrong, I had the same feeling and thought others might have… “If I wanted something else, IM sure I would ask the customer service desk” but whatever, this guy was doing his job and doing it very politely. No harm no foul, right? No!

He gets to this lady who is in her mature years we’ll say and says something like “If you need help with any credit cards or account set ups we can help you over here” (truth be told I didnt actually hear what he said but it was something like this) and didnt that old bitty rip into him like ha asked if he could have her virginity for a buck.

In the fellas defense he handled it very professionally and didn’t let it get to him (not noticeably or in front of her anyways) and for that I applaud him.

The customers of the world need to chill because for every question your asked or for every policy you are told by a customer service rep there is an entire company behind them paying them (usually a relatively small amount )   a salary to say these things to you. So call the company and complain to them.

As for that lady you get the middle finger award of the week.
